About The Yoga Collab…
I’m Deb, the founder and owner of this beautiful boutique yoga studio and hire space.
Originally from windy Wellington NZ, (yes, i’m a bloody kiwi!) i’ve been living in Bunbury since 2015, and teaching yoga since I graduated my training in 2017. I am Yoga Alliance qualified.
My love for the practice has led me to opening up this space, where I can hold my own classes, and provide a unique and comforting studio for other teachers, instructors and health and wellness professionals.
As your teacher, I want you to feel completely comfortable and safe in my classes. Props are encouraged to be used. Modifications and variations are always offered. No two bodies are the same. What works for one person, might not work for you! The beauty of yoga is that there are always options.
When I’m not teaching yoga, you’ll find me being mum to my human son Ari, cat son Archie, reading books and watching horror movies!
Yoga is about community, and you’ll find a lot of the people attending the studio have formed great friendships and have bonded through yoga. This is a chatty studio - before and after practice! (Although I do have the odd Whisper Zone class here and there which proves challenging haha.)
I believe that practicing yoga and other similar activities can bring tranquility and happiness into your life. You may be wondering what I mean by "collab." It's just a shortened way of saying collaboration, which means when people work together to create something amazing. Whether that’s between the students and teacher, or with other wellness professionals.
The studio provides all the amenities you need if you are looking to hire a space, including air conditioning and a variety of props like mats, cushions, blocks, and eye pillows. There is a fully functional kitchen upstairs available for your use as well. There are plenty of free parking spaces near the studio. There is one flight of stairs and no lift access.
“Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, some days you eat cupcakes and refuse to put on pants. It’s called balance.”
